Help[Opinions] Isabel and Isabelle
Thanks to Martha's reply to my post I was reminded of this pretty name today.
I used to really love it as Isabelle for a long long time. Lately, I have been liking Isabel a lot as well.
So I guess I can't really decide.
Which do you prefer Isabelle or Isabel (other spellings such as the German Isabell and Scottish Isobel are not an option)?
It was quite common in the UK but never all that common in the US and I guess overall still a lot less common than Isabella.
Do you think it will get mistaken for Isabella?
Do you think she will get called Izzy (which I dislike)?
