How on earth are you going to “enforce the avoidance” of Izzy? Are you going to go around to each of her friends and demand they never call her Izzy?

Obviously you can't totally enforce it.......but if someone doesn't want to be called something, surely they can ask people not to call them it...?

I was talking from the viewpoint of the parent (because Perrine herself doesn’t like Izzy). You can’t enforce any nicknames on/off anyone as a parent, it’s not your name. If the person themselves didn’t want to be called Izzy then they could ask others of course.
