Philippe and Lingaire decide to wait a while after they got married to settle into their jobs. They are overjoyed when they find out that they are expecting two years after they get married, and even more thrilled that it was a boy! They wanted a name that sounded good in both French and English and wasn't too out there, so they decided on Lucas, nicknamed Luke. Babukar is a traditional Wolof name and also the name of Lingaire's late grandfather.
