Celeste gave birth to her darling daughter, Evangeline, at 3:28 pm. She started to have labor pains in the middle of the night, and she woke her mother, who had always been a light sleeper, with her cry of pain. Only half an hour later she was in the maternity ward in the hospital. She was in labor for 10 hours, but it finally paid off after seeing her small but precious daughter. She named her daughter after her great-grandmother, Grace Ann, and her grandmother, Evangeline Marie.
