I wouldn't name twins anything I wasn't willing to name singletons so no same initials or rhyming/similar sounding names. Similar style of name doesn't bother me much because if that's the style of names the parents like then that's the kind of name they're going to use regardless of whether the children are twins or singletons. I think Milo and Linus are fine for brothers but I disagree that they are completely individual names. I think they are similar styles. Both names have two syllables, the same cadence and the same vowel sound in the first syllable. But since I see no problem with giving children similar style names I see no problem with Milo and Linus.
