Re: Twinsies
I don't know enough sets of twins to be able to say anything about trends in naming them. Personally I'd give twins whatever two names I liked most. I don't think I would purposefully make them "twinny," but if you find my taste boring, literary, old-fashioned, or whatever else you very well might think I was aiming for a theme. My very favorite names tend to reflect a similar style anyway, I think, so if I named twins they'd probably be more alike than otherwise. I wouldn't use completely different styles because that's not what I am into, you know? It'd be too darn bad for them if they thought Elizabeth and Rachael somehow constituted ungodly themey twin names. :-)Like I responded to Mar's post, what I'd name twins right now would be:B/B: Lawrence Douglas and William Gordon
G/G: Elizabeth Antonia and Rachael Miriam
B/G: Lawrence Douglas and Elizabeth Antonia
