I don't like Lynn and I never have. However, this is probably because it seems extremely dated to me, and in a really banal way. Lynn is just so unremarkable. It's the mousy secretary of names. But I do wonder whether I'd have liked it back when it was fresh. The sound is fairly nice. I wonder whether Claire will eventually feel like Lynn does now?
I prefer May and Rose to Lynn. As a middle name, Lynn is filler like Rose or Grace, but it also feels so dated and dull that it seems like the parents were just like, well, screw it. Let's just go with Lynn because we're both lazy and out of touch.
