I never really cared for Megan, but it has grown on me. I think the nickname Meg is cute and even though I like Margaret I can't use it because of bad personal associations with a Margaret I met a few years ago. I think I prefer it as a middle name as it is quite 80s dated. What do you think of Megan? Has its popularity ruined it somewhat? I also don't like how so many spellings are used. I think Meghan made the top 100 and I've seen Meagan, Meaghan and several others.

How do you pronounce it and where are you from (country)? I pronounce it kind of like MEG-en but I've heard MAY-gen and MEE-gen.
