The only Miranda I know in person is my mum who is in her late 50s. Her nickname as a child was Mandy (which doesn't suit her at all now!) I wouldn't be surprised to find one in her mid-20s. I don't associate it with any particular age group as it's never been popular in Britain.

I like it. I would expect a Miranda to be elegant, sophisticated, intelligent and maybe a bit arty.
