After a whirlwind romance, they settled in London and have lived happily ever after - despite DW never quite settling for the English cuisine!

DD1 met ex-H at a Rolling Stones concert in 1982. They were pen pals for two years before they decided to marry and settle down in Tokyo. A few years after their youngest daughter was born, DD1 and ex-H separated as friends, and DD1 moved back to London with her two young daughters.
DD1 (30) met her American husband while studying at Edinburgh University in Scotland. DH has distant Scottish roots, and came to Scotland to explore his heritage. DD1 (30) and DH now live outside Fife with their three children.
DD2 spent some of her teenage years living in Tokyo with her father, and then her early twenties travelling around South-East Asia. In Indonesia she met her girlfriend, and through insemination they conceived triplets! They now live in Bangkok, Thailand.
Many years after the divorce, DD1 (55) began to flirt with the next door neighbour, and they ended up marrying. Together they have two children, and they still live in the same London suburb where they met.

DS1 and ex-gf were high school sweethearts when they found out ex-gf was expecting. Ex-gf gave birth to their son when they were just 18 years old. Both DS1’s and ex-gf’s parents helped out with raising the boy - ex-gf hails from Sweden and DS1 grew up trilingual (Swedish, Italian, and English).
DS1 is now 34 years old and has a family of his own. He met his wife at theatre where he works - he’s a stagehand and she’s an actress. She moved to London from Uganda as a teenager to reunite with her father and try her luck acting.
DS1 (52) later married a friend of a friend: DW is Greek, and has a son from a previous relationship. Dstepson and his girlfriend just had a baby girl.
DS1 (52) and DW have two children together as well, and are happily settled in Leatherhead, just outside of London.

DD2 met her husband at a film festival, and after a year of dating they married. They’re both film fanatics, which is reflected in their name choices for their three children.
When their youngest son, DS1, was just 8 years old he was diagnosed with leukaemia. He spent many years in the hospital, but luckily survived. Through a cancer survivor group for children, he met the girl who would later become his wife. Since they’ve both been through intense cancer treatments, they knew they couldn’t have biological children, and decided to adopt.
DD1 met her boyfriend two years ago - he’s born and raised in London to Iranian parents. He has a son from a previous relationship, who absolutely adores DD1.

DD3 met her husband at university: he was an exchange student from Espoo, Finland. They fell in love and married, and relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where they raised their five children.
DD1 was travelling and working in New Zealand when she met her husband-to-be. His Maori family owns the winery where DD1 was working for a season to support her travelling. She ended up staying, and the family is now happily settled in Marlborough, New Zealand, with two young children.
DS1 also went travelling after finishing school. He ended up in Jerusalem, where he met his boyfriend.
