Giosetta is Italian, and met Wes while she was travelling to England with her sisters. Wes was working at an art gallery Giosetta visited, and they had an instant connection. After a whirlwind romance, they settled in London and have lived happily ever after - despite Giosetta never quite getting used to the English cuisine!

Audrey met Akito at a Rolling Stones concert in 1982. They were pen pals for two years before they decided to marry and settle down in Tokyo. A few years after their youngest daughter was born, Audrey and Akito separated as friends, and Audrey moved back to London with her two young daughters.
Camilla met her American husband while studying at Edinburgh University in Scotland. Zachary has distant Scottish roots, and came to Scotland to explore his heritage. Camilla and Zachary now live outside Fife with their three children.
Lidia spent some of her teenage years living in Tokyo with her father, and then her early twenties travelling around South-East Asia. In Indonesia she met her girlfriend Rani, and through insemination they conceived triplets! They now live in Bangkok, Thailand.
Many years after the divorce, Audrey began to flirt with the next door neighbour Rhys, and they ended up marrying. Together they have two children, and they still live in the same London suburb where they met.

Luciano and Märta were high school sweethearts when they found out Märta was expecting. Märta gave birth to their son Björn when they were just 18 years old. Both Luciano’s and Märta’s parents helped out with raising the boy - Märta hails from Sweden and Björn grew up trilingual (Swedish, Italian, and English).
Björn is now 34 years old and has a family of his own. He met his wife Ana at theatre where he works - he’s a stagehand and she’s an actress. She moved to London from Uganda as a teenager to reunite with her father and try her luck at acting.
Luciano later married a friend of a friend: Artemis is Greek, and has a son from a previous relationship. Alexis and his girlfriend Sienna just had a baby girl: Mariah.
Luciano and Artemis have two children together as well, and are happily settled in Leatherhead, just outside of London.

Caroline met her husband Orson at a film festival, and after a year of dating they married. They’re both film fanatics, which is reflected in their name choices for their three children.
When their youngest son, Stanley, was just 8 years old he was diagnosed with leukaemia. He spent many years in the hospital, but luckily survived. Through a cancer survivor group for children, he met the girl who would later become his wife - Hailey. Since they’ve both been through intense cancer treatments, they knew they couldn’t have biological children, and decided to adopt.
Vivien met her boyfriend Daryush two years ago - he’s born and raised in London to Iranian parents. He has a son from a previous relationship, who absolutely adores Vivien.

Alma met her husband Esa at university: he was an exchange student from Espoo, Finland. They fell in love and married, and relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where they raised their five children.
Kirsi was travelling and working in New Zealand when she met her husband-to-be, Ropata. His Maori family owns the winery where Kirsi was working for a season to support her travelling. She ended up staying, and the family is now happily settled in Marlborough, New Zealand, with two young children.
Aulis also went travelling after finishing school. He ended up in Jerusalem, where he met his boyfriend Aviel.
