Everard and Charlotte “Chaz” met five years ago when Chaz, already a hit Hollywood actor, shadowed Everard at work as a pediatrician. She was playing the role of a young med student and, although she could have faked the whole thing, wanted to be as accurate as possible. The TV show (Childless) turned out to be a huge success and Chaz mostly attributed the performance to Everard. They became good friends long distance and, finally, Everard moved to LA two years ago to strengthen their relationship. Completely in love, they married last year in a private ceremony and look forward to starting their lives together. They are very wealthy due to their very high paying jobs and Chaz’s generous fan group so there are no limits to what they can do!
Year 1: $$$$$ Everard 28 Chaz 29 Thomas and Linnaea 0
Everard and Chaz can’t believe their luck! They conceived almost immediately and, at the first doctors appointment, found out they were expecting twins. Now the kids have been born and Everard and Chaz have called them Thomas and Linnaea. They always loved the name Thomas and when they found out it meant twin they decided it was just meant to be. They searched for a girls’ name with the same meaning and finally unearthed Linnaea, meaning twinflower. Chaz has cut down the amount of films she’s working on to spend more time with the tykes and, luckily, Everard has a very nice medical leave plan. Twins might be double trouble, but they’re double love too!

After a lot of consideration, Everard and Chaz decided to host an exchange student from Spain this year. Eduardo Valdez Molina, who’s studying to become a chef, is a big fan of Chaz’s movies and TV shows and he was absolutely thrilled to have a chance to stay with the couple. He was very helpful with the twins, and he even treated the family to some special Spanish dishes.
Year 3: $$$$$ Everard 30 Chaz 31 Thomas and Linnaea 2
As a celebrity, Chaz is under pressure to set an example for the younger generation. She decided to take a trip to Costa Rica, where she helped build a school and worked with local groups to create a sustainable education system in rural areas there. She was a huge inspiration to her fans and gained international support for her efforts. However, she did leave Everard home with excitable toddlers and a fun time job. He wasn’t particularly pleased but continued to support her choices.

This year Everard suggested another way for Chaz to inspire good deeds: he suggested they adopt locally! Chaz agreed and they welcomed Kendra, a five-year-old girl who has been in foster care since her birth. She was a little suspicious of her new family at first and thought her little siblings were too noisy but she has begun to see the love everyone in the family shares and extends to her. While the adoption is great for her celebrity profile, Chaz is trying to shield Kendra from the paparazzi as much as possible.

The country fell into a fiscal crisis, causing millions to lose employment and stock prices to fall considerably. Everard and Chaz were mostly shielded from the crisis but they decided to donate money to some of those in need. They are now slightly less extremely wealthy but they think the donation was worth it.

Kendra and Linnaea love playing dress up with them and Thomas keeps asking when they’ll be old enough to play soccer with.

With five rambunctious kids, Everard and Kendra were not planning on having another child and were doing everything they could to avoid that possibility. Nestor was was born three weeks after his due date in an unplanned C section and Everard and Chaz decided to honor that with his name, meaning homecoming. Thomas and Linnaea really didn’t want another sibling but Kendra talked them into accepting the little boy.

Knowing that all the babies was a real disappointment to Thomas and Linnaea, Everard and Chaz decided to allow them to buy a kitten. Overjoyed, they names their tuxedo cat Hook after their favorite character on Once Upon a Time. Little Hook runs around kissing the babies and cuddling in Thomas and Linnaea’s laps. Kendra helps take care of the cat occasionally but really is not a cat person.

Chaz was diagnosed with cancer early this year and went in for intensive treatment. Just as her future was looking strong and she was able to move back home, Chaz died in her sleep from unexpected complications. Everard, now left a single dad to six kids and three toddlers, is heartbroken and struggling to move on after her death. Kendra, Thomas, and Linnaea have also been hit hard and there hasn’t been a dry night since her death.

Everard knows that their names are an important part of Kendra’s grieving process, but he hates that the fish will eventually die and Kendra will have to grieve all over again.

He was arrested, served some time in juvenile detention, and is now in recovery. Fortunately, he and Bash have reconciled and it looks like he’ll avoid further trouble. Meanwhile, Kendra started college.

Missing Kendra, Everard decided to host a high school senior from Brazil as part of a local exchange program. Altair Rios Rocha became good friends with Thomas and Linnaea and the younger kids looked up to him. The family was sad when he left, but he promised to write and come back to visit soon.

Everard is positive they’ll drop the disdain and start to love Edmund at some point. Meanwhile, Thomas and Linnaea started college.
