Kumar was born in Great Britain to Indian parents and moved to Romania at the age of 24 to finish his doctorate at University of Bucharest. Alienore comes from Belgium and moved to Romania to work on a scientific project three years ago. She met Kumar, fell in love with him and the country and decided to stay.
