After telling Tasha that he was taking Kate to Ryan's party, Jarrod asked Kate to be his girlfriend. The night of the party, Jarrod and Kate spent the night together in their favorite spot in the woods. About two months later, Kate told Jarrod she was pregnant. Because both were too young to be married, they have decided against a shotgun wedding, and informed Jillian (Kate's grandmother) about the baby. As a group, they agreed that they would keep the baby and raise it together. The baby was born and Jarrod has been excellent in standing by Christine and Kate. They've chosen to nickname her "Isy" after the ancestor that helped Jarrod slay Rhauk and save Kate.
