As soon as they were married, Teddy and Victoire moved out to their own little house, ready to start their life together. At first, Teddy was a bit reluctant to leave his grandmother Andromeda alone in their family home, but since Andromeda insisted to stay at her late husband's house and that "[Victoire] needn't be bothered further with an old burden like me", Teddy finally complied and stopped begging her to come with them. Months of tidying up, hectic visits, and keeping Victoire's mother away from the messier rooms ensued, until finally the Lupins were ready for their fresh start.
In only a few months from their marriage, Victoire found herself pregnant. She was incredibly excited about the prospect of having a child, and soon carried a notebook around to jot anything that comes into mind - what names the baby might have, what maternity clothes she will want, and so forth. Teddy was also all over the place - with anxiety! Unlike his wife, he was very nervous with becoming a father so soon, and was practically panicking when a family friend talked him down. Harry did not manage to calm Teddy by much, but when he dryly mentioned that Teddy's late father used to be just as jittery when his wife was expecting, it had a strangely soothing effect on Teddy. As time passed, and both Teddy and Victoire calmed from their respective frenzies, they began to discuss the naming of their child. By the time the wailing, kicking daughter was born, her parents had found her a name: Fleur Andromeda, after Victoire's mother and Teddy's grandmother and guardian. Both women were immensely pleased with being named after, especially Fleur.
Visits from friends and family followed, along with a shower of presents for little Fleurette (they have resorted to calling her in the diminutive to differentiate the granddaughter from the grandmother). All sorts of things arrived, from plush hippogriffs that flew around the bedroom to "harmless" fireworks that set Teddy's nerves on alarm on account of its noise. Young Fleurette seemed perfectly content with the visitors themselves, however, and would usually cling to their arms willingly.
