Meaning & History
In The Book of Mormon, Corianton was the third son of Alma the Younger and the brother of Helaman and Shiblon. This Corianton is best known for committing grievous sins while serving as a missionary, but he later repented and was known by other Book of Mormon figures to be a holy man, again called to serve as a missionary and delivering provisions to people in need.
