In the case of Indonesian singer Chrismansyah "Chrisye" Rahadi (1949-2007), who was born as Christian Rahadi, it is composed of the first part of his birth name, Chris- combined with the Indonesian suffix -syah derived from the Persian title شاه (šâh).
