Not a week after Queen Elena had suffered the miscarriage of what would have been her 6th child, the Kingdom of Ghirar attacked Dagda.
Not yet strong enough to enter the battlefield herself, and with needing someone to take care of the children, Elena watched as Jeremy left to fight Ghirar. After some time, and when her strength had returned, Elena entered the fray to give Jeremy a much needed rest from fighting and commanding the armies. (In Dagda, men and women may choose to enter the military. Both genders are trained as children [especially those of royal birth] to defend themselves, and a skill [or more] of their choice)
After many long years of war, Dagda emerged victorious in the war against Ghirar. Elena and Jeremy's reunion, having only seen eachother very few times and generally while travelling, resulted in the birth of Princess Gemma.
