I really love the name Isabelle! I’ve always enjoyed this name. I also really love the spelling Isabel. I can’t decide which spelling I prefer. I also like Isabella, but that name is such a common name. Bella is a very common nickname. Also, my chocolate lab is named Belle; so I may be biased.
For the record, I’m not the biggest fan of Isobel. I have absolutely nothing against Scotland. For, I literally have loads of ancestry from there. However, I’m not a fan of the “SOOO” in Isobel. That’s how most Americans would read it, probably. I know I would.
