The only Laramie I ever heard of was a girl I went to high school with. I thought it was kind of pretty at first hearing it, but I changed my mind. She had apparently gotten called larry a lot in early years, so that's a drawback. Also, I'm sorry to say she had a very bad reputation, she bragged about being with 22 different men and boys one weekend and rumor was she had a few different diseases. I don't doubt it.
I would not use it for a boy, it just sounds like a girls' name. Sad to say, names that would go with it as siblings would be Cody, Cheyenne, Dakota and that kind of wannabe cowboy or cowgirl names.
