Dallas, Cheyenne, Maverick, it's always funny to see those names used, because nine times out of ten they're used by parents who've never been out West in their lives and whose main view of the West is watching reruns of "Dr. Quinn" or "Walker Texas Ranger."I propose these people branch out a bit and start using some less common Western names. How's this for size?LassoPommelMustangStirrupSaddle SoresCow-PieCactus

And those of us from the area (1 hr south of Cheyenne and Laramie) would never dream of naming a child we love after places like those. :P

LolWell, I have been west, but when I hear names like that I think of the people you think of, therefore I want to steer completely clear of those types of names!
About your other names, I am pretty sure there are children out there with the name Mustang...male and female. That is sad.
