Personally when I hear the name I automatically associate it with The Laramie Project, about the gay boy that was murdered in Wyoming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Laramie_Project). I sense that other people may have the same assocaition. It seems quite surname-y to me also which puts me off a little bit. I think I would prefer to see Jeremy...though thats probably not a name your really interested in.

And as a side note, mentioning of this play always makes me a little angry/bitter, because our school board completely dashed the idea of performing it because the homosexual themes may offend people. I have a feeling they missed the point entirely.

Actually, I like the name Jeremy, but I was just wondering about Laramie. Thanks for the input, it helps me decide wether to use it or not.
