I was just thinking of Brooke lately. I prefer the spelling Brook I think, because something about Brooke just seems snotty to me. I don't know any Brookes personally, but the ones I have known of were mostly been older than me (I'm about to turn 19), or at least around the same age. I think it'd be adorable on a little girl. I think it makes a good filler mn (like Rose, Marie, Lynn, etc); but I prefer it as a fn. I like the nature-y look of Brook over Brooke. I like Brooklyn too, that's cute. I'm not too worried about popularity concerning Brooke or Brooklyn. As far as I know, the usage of the name hasn't reached overkill yet...you know like Ava or Lily.
