I've only ever met one person with this name, and I've always thought it's one of the most beautiful names out there. It reminds me of icicles. I don't understand why people view it as an old lady name. I've never seen it that way. It's just georgeous and it's way overdue to become popular. I think I'll reconsider it today. I have trouble imagining what a little Sylvia would look like, but I'd just love to see this name used more.
