I love the name Sylvia. It's #4 on DH's and my list of names for future daughters, so it probably won't get used in our family, but I love it a lot. My favorite combo is Sylvia Margaret. I think Sylvia works well in combination with other old-fashioned names that are a little more down-to earth (Katherine, Caroline, Rachel, Helen, Penelope)

Siblings for Sylvia would have to be other classic or old-fashioned names. If I had a daughter named Sylvia, her siblings might be named Margaret "Maggie", Elspeth, Julia, Ezra, Asher, or Jonas.
