Family
SO1: Thurayya Batul {El-Amin}
SO2: Nagendra Chander Darzi
Location: Pakistan
Do they have any children already? (if yes, post their names and ages): No
Their naming style (use max. 5 words to describe their naming style): Extravagant, in their own languages
Family background (how they met, what do they do for living, why they decided to adopt, what languages do they speak etc., give as much or little detail as you want): They met in a hospital in Islamabad, where Thurayya was working as a nurse and Nagendra as an ambulance paramedic. They decided to adopt because they've seen too many births gone wrong, and too many mothers sending their children to orphanages.
Thurayya is Muslim and Nagendra is Hindu - despite difficulties from both sides of the family, they married. Both speak Urdu as their first and English as a second language. Thurayya speaks Arabic as well, and Nagendra speaks Hindi.
Adoption form
Age range?: 0-10
Gender preference?: They would like to adopt girls rather than boys.
Are they willing to adopt multiples? (twins, triplets): Yes.
Domestic or international adoption?: Both are fine.
If international, where from around the world do they want to adopt?: Any neighbour country of Pakistan.
Are they willing to adopt children with disabilities?: Yes, definitely.
Are they willing to adopt children that were raised in different religion?: They would prefer their children to be either Muslim or Hindu.
Are they willing to adopt children who do not speak their language?: No, but seeing as they speak four languages between them, that won't be much of a problem, they thought.
Do they plan to add any more biological children to their family?: No.
Any other information? (anything else you want to add): -
