When Lizzy found out she and Darcy were expeciting again when little Lily was just 2 was thrilling, especially seeing as her sister Jane had also discovered that she and Bingley were also expecting their first child. Everyone was especially pleased for Jane as she and Bingley had been married for quite awhile without a pregnancy and had begun to wonder if there was a problem. Darcy has much enjoyed tormenting his dear friend about all the horrors of impending fatherhood, all in jest of course as Darcy himself has never enjoyed anything quite so much as being Papa to Lily.
Lizzy & Jane have very much enjoyed sharing their pregnancies, though as this was not Lizzy's first it wasn't quite as enthralling for her as it was Jane. Jane went into labour early one morning and Lizzy was quick to attend to her and help her through. Jane had been in labour for a few hours when Lizzy began to feel pains in her back, but ignored them, thinking they were only from leaning over the bed and staying there for two long. Sure enough however the pains began to get worse and after an hour or so Lizzy was forced to acknowledge that it would seem that her own child was eager to make their appearance along side it's cousin.
She was situated in the room next to Jane and the doctor dashed back and forth between the two sisters. Lizzy progressed faster than Jane had and the doctor was in with Jane delivering the newest Bingley whilst poor Mr Darcy had to deliver his own child as after all was done the two babies arrived only a few minutes apart. Jane and Charles welcomed a son, finally a Bennet heir, whom they named Charles John after his father and Darcy. Lizzy & Darcy welcomed their second little girl and, whilst both had rather been hoping for a boy this time, they were soon in love with the tiny babe. They named her Margaret Alice, though like her sister she will be known by a shortened form of her name - Meg. Lily, now 3, is rather curious about her sister but once she realised that Meg is far too small to join her playing with doll she was no longer really interested.
