Slowly and surely, Teddy and Victoire adapted to parenthood. It was not an easy task, as they soon found out, what with late-night vigils and all-round confusion. At last, Fleurette's great-grandmother Andromeda decided to step in, despite protests that she's too old and will be far too bothered. Andromeda rejected all the protests and taught Victoire and her grandson how to do things, though only for a short while, and eventually the two managed to get back on their feet. Teddy managed to return to his job as Potioneer (though as he said, he would have far wished to be a Professor like his father instead), while Victoire decided she'd rather be a homemaker like her grandmother Molly.Time passed by. Little Fleurette grew up to be a happy young toddler. Like her mother, she was very pretty - people would often stoop down and ask her parents what the "sweet/cute/beautiful little girl" is called, to which she'd gladly tell herself that it's "Flowet". In time the lisp vanished, and Fleurette managed to say her name in the proper way.But just as things seemed to cool down for the Lupin family, their cradle began to rock again. Victoire found herself pregnant again, much to her and Teddy's joy. Unfortunately, it was hardly the best of times - after a few mistaken decisions, the family had fallen on hard times, and barely managed to get by as is. Even moreso than it was with Fleurette, Teddy wondered how in Merlin's name would he be able to earn a living for the entire family. While his job did pay sufficiently well, they had always skated by almost miraculously, and if it were not for the charity bestowed by family and friends, Teddy was certain they would have fallen on hard times much earlier. And now, being a Potioneer is hardly an affording job after a recent scandal involving hoaxing Potioneers unintentionally poisoning their elixirs. But still, Teddy and Victoire refused to face the problem lying down and got to everything they could. Within months, Victoire managed to juggle watching over Fleurette and making small charmed toys to sell at Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, while Teddy took a leap in the dark and filed a resume to teach in Hogwarts. He was almost certain he would be told that he was "too young"; he received quite the surprise when Headmaster Flitwick mentioned there used to be teachers six years younger than him! When Victoire felt the pangs of childbirth, she nearly panicked. The reason being that Teddy was having an interview with Headmaster Flitwick, and there was no-one at home besides herself and Fleurette! In a stroke of desperation, she Apparated herself to St Mungo's Hospital and was swiftly given assistance. By the time Teddy managed to rush back, his wife was in the middle of labour. When all is said and done, two excellent surprises await their loved ones: Teddy's acceptance into the Hogwarts faculty, and the presence of a newborn Lupin son. Predictably (excruciatingly so for some relatives, who had guessed long ago), the son was named Remus after its late grandfather, unintentionally creating a loop in which both Teddy and his son were named after their respective grandfathers. Remy (so he was called by Fleurette, a nickname quickly adopted by the rest) was a healthy young boy, and it was already quite apparent that he inherited his father's metamorphmagus abilities. Thus the family re-entered a stabler point in their life cycle. The following September, when Remy was nine months old, Teddy began his first term as Potions professor in Hogwarts (it was not what he expected, since he had originally applied for his father's former post, Defence Against the Dark Arts). Victoire remained home with her two little ones, sending owls back and forth to her husband every night. Fleurette doted upon her brother, and Remy returned her affections by transforming his hair into a mimicry of hers.
