I prefer
Beatrice to
Beatrix at the moment.
Beatrix seems a bit gimmicky to me at the moment, "omg! It is totally a name of a star, and in harry potter, and in kill bill, plus not a stuffy as beatrice" which isn't really what people think, but in my strang mind they do.
Plus,
Beatrice has old fashion charm. :-)
Other nns: Trice, Trixy, Tricy (Trissy), Beat, Beat-tric (new varient no beatnic), Bebe...
Of the combos, my favorites are
Beatrice Susan and
Beatrice Kay, because I think the softish K and S sounds mesh well with
Beatrice. The others are nice, too, but I like these two best.
