I like it. Always have, probably always will. I wouldn't use it, but I think it's a happy and friendly name.Yeah, it is made up, but it's very clearly Kay plus Lee (or Leigh) so it does have a meaning. Same as Annemarie and Marysue have meanings.I prefer Kayleigh I think because in Europe this is the standard spelling, after the song. But Kaylee is perfectly fine.In the UK I find it less problematic to use because Kayleigh is way more common than the other spellings whereas even though in the US Kaylee is the most common I feel parents went for all kinds of spellings a lot more.It is dated. Very dated. But fine.Edited: I know a few Kayleigh from the UK, all born between the late 80s and mid 90s.
