Re: Hera
Hera is lovely. It manages to sound both soft and strong at the same time. The meaning that BtN gives is uncertain, but the "hero, warrior" meaning is nice. Nearly everyone in Greek and Roman was less than pleasant, and some of them, such as Zeus, were beyond the pale. There needs to be a revisionist story from Hera's point of view, in which she tells her side of things. If Hollywood can make a film trying to make Maleficent redeemable, then I think the same could be done for Hera. She is one of the few gods that could be said to be loyal to her heroes, so a redemption arc would have more to work with than in most cases. It could end with Zeus being dethroned, and the gods living more quietly and peaceably ever after.
