I don't like Frances or Frankie. I find Frances boring and Frankie affected. Neither as bad as the horribly ugly Fran which is the diminutive I've come across most. I absolutely love Francis for a boy though
I'm not sure where you're from but Fanny as slang for women's genitals has been in use for a very long time in England and is beginning to fall out of use

Fanny is slang for backside, butt. It isn't vulgar like in the UK, more like something your grandma might say, and never in a sexualized way. "Sit your fanny down and be quiet" or "I fell down flat on my fanny" for instance.
