Of your male names, I like:

Dorian (one of my favorites!)

Even with Ellison, though, it's one letter away from being Allison, which - despite ending in "son" - has been thoroughly adopted as a female name in most Anglophone cultures. Same with Addison; though I wouldn't use either name for a daughter, personally. Of the other listed names, I would genuinely use Marian or Leslie for a girl.

Of your female names, I quite like Merline.

I go back and forth on Jasper. It's mainly that I like the *idea* of Jasper, but not the way it's said with my Midwestern American Accent. Jasper only sounds "right," to my ears, when it's said with an English accent.
