Hi Seda,
Nice to "meet" you, and thanks for the welcome. I love the boards. I think I'm addicted.
So here's a little about me: I'm a 32 year old high school teacher. I have a seven year old son named Baylor
Gregory, and I'm trying to conceive baby #2 (right now
Dawson Nicholas for a boy and Élan ??? for a girl). I've been divorced, and have just married the most awesome man on the planet. I'm a conservative
Christian, and I have ALWAYS been a name nerd. My mother has told me that my baby dolls when I was little had first and middle names!
I love thinking about names, helping family and friends come up with names for their kids, etc... I'm so disgusted when someone tells me, "Oh so-and-so had their baby, but I don't know what they named it." I also abhor super common names. My opinion is that there are about a ka-zillion original and beautiful names to choose from, so there is no point in giving your child a name they have to share with 1/3 of the population! Whew! Enough ranting and raving, so I'll shut up now.
I just give my opinions of names and try to avoid getting into an online argument with anyone.
So Seda, nice to meet you again, and thanks for the welcome.
Tell me a little about yourself?
Gretchen
