I don't recall stating that it is nearly a crime or commenting on how the parents should be treated in any way other than to say that I completely disagree with the line of thinking, which in no way implies the sort of punishment or reaction you state here. And I assume that the "why" question is rhetorical since we do a pretty good job of explaining that it is less to do with names that "go well together" as it is with the implication brought on by names like "
Hannah and
Anna" that parents view the two separate children as two halves of one whole.
It is extremely irritating when a poster rags on other posters' opinions
while playing the "it is a personal decision" or "just my opinion" card. Obviously! And we just gave ours, same as you're doing now.
