Why is almost everyone so negative about this? If I had twins, I probably wouldn't pick really matchy names either but ones that go well together.
However, I think this is a personal decision, so why is everyone acting like matching names are a crime that should be punished with a slow and brutal death? Come on, it's probably just for a story anyway.
I like Charlotte & Dorothea as a set, btw.
