Oh, the song "Sweet
Adeline" is why I love the name so much. The connection to your grandmother is warming my heart. I'd love to see you use it one day.
Willa Adeline is a lovely combinaiton. While I love the name
Eve, it doesn't combine the best with
Adeline to my ears. I don't think of
Kathryn Elizabeth as boring at all. But if you are looking for something different, how about:
Eliza AdelineElspeth Adeline (nn
Elsie?)
Elsa KathrynElla Kathryn (
Ella is from
Elizabeth, plus it would honor Ms. FitzGerald, if your G-ma was into her music)
Elena KathrynKateri AdelineSophie Adeline (
Sophie Tucker fans?)
Billie Adeline (Ms. Holiday fans?)
Melody AdelineGenevieve *
Adeline (nn
Evie?)
Mary Adeline (nn
Mae?)
Dulcie Adeline (
Dulcie = "sweet")
Well, that was fun, thanks. Let me know if you like any of these.

Genevieve is another barbershop quartet favorite. If you ever see the British comedy/movie from the 1950's called "
Genevieve" you'll hear the song in the middle of the film. (It's about vintage cars and the amateur collectors that get all wrapped up in them. One of the characters has named his car
Genevieve.)
