Actually, Trisha doesn't know the gender of the baby, but said she'll use the name Elvis whether it's a boy or a girl. Yikes.
Elvis on a boy is alright - it's such a dated name but it's still usable. However, it's too masculine to be bestowed on a girl! She should use Eloise, since it's less common and shares the same etymology with Elvis.
Malibu, per se, isn't bad. I actually like it a lot; it's such a unusual place name. It also reminds me of the song by Hole. But Malibu Barbie sounds like a complete joke, and the
Simpsons parody of the Barbie doll (Malibu Stacy) comes to mind.
