Help[Games] Year Story Game (1/7 - Years 0-10)
Hey guys! This is my first year story game, so if you have any tips, let me know! It will be in 6 parts.

To start off with, use Behind the Name's random renamer (https://www.behindthename.com/random/) to create the parents. Opt in to the life story to find out where they live/where they're from. If it's plausible, you can use the age generated. If not, choose your own.
How many older siblings do you have? Roll a d6. If your family ends up fostering children, this will be how you determine how many they're fostering. Roll a d2 for each sibling. Odd is boy, even is girl.
1: No siblings
2: Five siblings
3: Two siblings
4: Four siblings
5: One sibling
6: Three siblings
Are you a twin? Roll a d4.
1: Yes
2 or 4: No
3: You're a triplet
What sex are you? Roll a d3
1: Male

Who do you look like? Roll a d2 for hair, eyes, and skintone. If you're adopted, looks are up to you.

Now it's time for life events. Roll a d20 each year for a life event. You may roll more than once, if you choose.
Year O-5:
1: You gain a new sibling(s). How do you react? Are your family ready for it?
2: You become or are diagnosed as physically disabled. How do you react? What measures do your family take to help you?
3: Your family begin fostering children. Are you okay with this? Do you get along? Does your family decide to adopt any of them?
4: You are diagnosed with a developemental disability. What do your family do to help you?
5: Your family gets a pet. What kind of pet is it? What's their name? Did you know, or was it a surprise?
6: Your parents separate. Roll a d4. If you roll a 1, they are separated physically, but not legally. If you roll a 2, they get divorced. If you roll a 3, they separate legally. If you roll a 4, they get back together.
7: Your family goes on a vacation! Where is it? What do you do? Do you enjoy it?
8: Your family moves. Roll a d4. If you roll 1, you move to a new house. If you roll 2, you move to a new city. If you roll 3, you move to a new state. If you roll 4, you move to a new country. How do you react?
9: You get a best friend. What's their name? How did you meet?
10: Someone in or close to your family passes away. Do you understand what's happening? How does it affect your family?
11: You start going to daycare. Do you like it there?
12: Someone in your family becomes pregnant (can be a parent, aunt, sibling, etc.). Are you excited for the new baby? What about your family?
13: You have a new favorite toy. What is it, and why? How did you get it?
14: You go to a family reunion and meet lots of new people. What happens?
15: One of your parents loses their job. How does life change for you?
16: You're gifted a handmade stuffed animal by a family friend. What does it look like? What do you name it?
17: You know what you want to be when you grow up. What is it?
18: One of your siblings or cousins doesn't seem to like you very much. How do your parents resolve this?
19: You're late to a milestone. Are your parents concerned?
20: You have a favorite animal! What is it? How interested are you in it?
Years 6-10:
1. Your best friend moves away. How do you handle it? Do you stay in touch?
2. If your parents are separated or divorced, one of them gets a new partner. If they aren't, they break up.
3. You're diagnosed with a neurodivergency (ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia, dyscalculia, OCD, hyperlexia, Tourette's, synthesia, etc.). How do your parents respond? Do you need an IEP?
4. You get in a fight with your friend in school. Are y'all still friends? Was it just verbal, or did it turn physical?
5. You have a favorite class. What is it?
6. You're really enjoying reading lately. What's your favorite book?
7. Your family goes on vacation! Do you get to pick where you go? How long is it?
8. You're really struggling in a school subject. What is it? Do your parents decided to get you a tutor?
9. Your family begin fostering children. Have they done it before? Do you get along? Does your family decide to adopt any of them?
10. Someone in your family passes away. How does this change your family? How does it change you?
11. You start playing a sport. What sport is it? Did you want to do it, or did your parents make you? Are you good?
12. You've decided (or changed your mind!) on what you want to be when you grow up. What is it?
13. You gain a new sibling(s). How do you react? Are your family ready for it?
14. You beg and beg and beg your parents to get you lessons for an instrument, and they finally agree. What instrument is it? Do you end up enjoying it, or do you quit early on?
15. You make friends with a new student. Who are they? What do y'all have in common?
16. You pick up a new hobby. What is it?
17. You and your best friend have gotten really into America's Got Talent lately, and you decide to try out. How does it go? Do you guys make it to in-person auditons, or are you cut before the first round? What's your talent?
18. You go to visit your grandparents. What do you do together? Do you have fun?
19. You get in trouble for something. What did you do? What is your punishment?
20. You learn how to swim!
