My fortieth high school reunion was held last October. I didn't attend, but as a member of the Facebook group dedicated to planning the reunion, I was privy to the pictures taken at the event. There was one picture of three of my classmates standing together smiling at the camera. I think I know why that particular picture was taken. All three are named
Lisa. It reminded me of how obnoxiously (IMO) common / popular this name was in my generation.
So much so that it's hard for me to separate it from that, and it's always seemed so boring to me. But now and then I've been able to put myself back in time and see the appeal for parents in the 1960s who hadn't grown up with a million Lisas.
What do you think of
Lisa?
Can you separate the name from the fact that it's dated?
