It’s my mother-in-law’s name. (Her parents were a little ahead of their time.)
I don’t like it. It’s very nicknamey to me. Theda’s middle name is Lily, partly as a VERY abstract way to honour my MIL, because they can technically both be nicknames for Elisabeth, but mostly because it’s hubby’s favourite flower. I feel like we’re off the hook for honouring her though, and I’m thankful.
