After trying for a baby since before their marriage and having no luck, Lana was surprised to find herself in labor on their bathroom floor one day. Ollie has moved in with her boyfriend, Declan, and the two have moved off to Poland, to join Declan's maternal side of the family. Myles misses her very much.

Eva has married the love of her life, a Romanian woman named Corina. Corina was in the country on business when they met. They held up a long distance relationship for about a year and a half before they got married at the start of this year. Corina's older brother and his wife passed away in a horrible accident, leaving Eva and Corina with their niece and nephew to raise as their own.
Since she still has no job, Lana has taken to volunteering at a children's hospital, reading to the kiddos there just as she would to her own little ones. The children love her.
From a young time in his life, Declan was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This year Ollie and Declan received an invitation to attend a conference on CF, living with it, and loving those who do. Ollie found it incredibly educational.

Ollie and Declan had their first child this year! A precious little girl named Gwenith. The couple couldn't be happier.
Eva and Corina have started volunteering at a homeless shelter for LGBT+ kids. Both are well liked, especially since their relationship shows that it is possible to thrive.
Lana started going back to school! After all these adoptions, she felt called to study social work. These kids need someone to care about them at all times, even if they can't take care of them.

For the past couple years Ollie has been working for the local government as an assistant, but this year hit the town pretty hard and their budget went down, requiring major budget cuts. As Ollie was one of the last workers hired, she became the first to go.
While Corina was visiting the Americas on business, she stopped by an orphanage where she met the most adorable triplets, Osvaldo, Leonor, and Soledad. Every time she called home to Eva, she couldn't stop crying and raving about them. So Eva suggested the reasonable thing: they adopt the triplets. And of course they did just that. The little six year olds are settling in just fine.
The rains were especially heavy this year, causing floods everywhere including Myles and Lana's house. For several weeks the Huff family bounced from hotel rooms to friends' guest rooms while necessary repairs were made on their house. They chose this time to remodel as well, considering the damage done and their need to stay elsewhere.

Ollie and Declan came home from a date night to find their babysitter frantic and on the phone with emergency services, their little Gwenith on the floor unconscious. The little girl became suddenly very ill and died a few days later.
At seventeen years old, Mihai started asking Eva and Corina if he could get a pet. After much wearing down, Eva agreed. Mihai had saved up enough money on his own to buy a pet. Eva regretted saying he's the minute Mihai brought Wizard Slither home.
Ken'ichi met a girl at a bar a little over a year ago. They got drunk and slept together. Gwyneira left him in bed in the middle of the night, but they kept running into each other. Every time they did, they ended up in bed. All this sex led to Gwyneira getting pregnant. The moment she told him, Ken'ichi asked her on a proper date. They've been together since, working together to raise their daughter, Luned.
Lana insisted that she and Myles go on an anniversary trip this year. They haven't done anything big in years, what with their ever-growing family. With their children getting older, Myles agreed so he and Lana packed up and went to Greece for a few weeks if relaxation.

Declan had been just barely hanging on to his life, struggling with his CF and the death of his daughter. He spent months fighting for his life, but finally Ollie gave him permission to let go. Within hours, he passed away, leaving Ollie all on her own.
Corina travels a lot for work and normally she leaves Eva and the kids at home. This time, however, she brought the whole family along. Her trip only took her to Paris, across the channel, so it wasn't too far. Eva enjoyed it so much that she suggested next time, they go alone.
Ken'ichi and Gwyneira are still together, all due to their daughter. They took her this year to a boat ride near their hometown. Little Luned loved every second.
After decades in the business, Myles was finally recognized this year for his work in the comics industry. His artwork on an indie comic gained wide recognition and won him an award for all his beautiful, hard work.

Even after working for so long in the industry and winning an award for his work last year, Myles has been laid off as his company takes a nosedive. It had been close to going belly up for years. People just don't read indie comics like they used to.
After all of her tragedies in the last couple years, Ollie has moved. She packed up all her belonging and moved across the sea to New York City, hoping to find a new start there.
With little Luned now two, Ken'ichi and Gwyneira bought a fish and are helping the toddler take care of it and learn responsibility. Luned, currently obsessed with the hit film from her parents' childhood Finding Nemo, decided to call her fishy Nemo, despite it having no orange in sight.
Yuuta has been seeing a young German woman named Christiane Welter. The two have agreed to save sex for marriage, Christiane being a hardcore Christian like her name suggests. When Yuuta got laid off, much to his surprise, Christiane invited him to move in with her. The two live together, Christiane helping Yuuta with his job search, and everyone expects the wedding announcements to come any day.
Edouard has an American boyfriend, Hartley Carson. While visiting Hartley in his Louisiana hometown, Edouard got caught in a hurricane. Hartley's home was destroyed and a number of his family members injured. Ed and Hartley spent a short stint in the emergency room themselves, Ed with a broken arm. Both are doing much better now.
Emma has been going out with a man named Martin since her junior year of high school. He was an exchange student attending her high school from Croatia. Martin and Emma recently got engaged. Emma had just graduated high school when Martin approached her quietly and popped the question, no trumpets or fanfare. Emma said yes. Her high school graduation quickly became her double happiest day yet.
Little Maybelline has had it rough this year. She started dating this guy she thought she liked and she thought was sweet. Turns out, he was a major playboy. When she said she didn't want to have sex yet, he guilted her into it anyway. She ended up pregnant. The boy dumped her the minute she told him, so now the sixteen year old girl is raising her twin daughters, Aran and Garnet, with help from her parents and siblings.

Maybelline started seeing a new boy this past year, a sweet young man by the name of Eliot Teel. Eliot has always done the exact opposite of what the twins's father did, a fact Maybelline fell in love with early on in their relationship. However, they ended up moving very fast and when they got pregnant withtheir son, Maximilian, they asked both of their parents for permission to get married. Maybelline is no longer Maybelline Hayes Huff, but Maybelline Teel. Eliot adopted her twins right off the bat.
Emma and Martin have settled down together nearby, spending half their time here with Emma's family and the other half in Croatia with his. This past year, Emma and Martin stayed a little bit longer than usual or expected but when they came home Myles and Lana found out quickly why. Emma had gotten pregnant before their trip... And they had quadruplets! Because of this, she'd been put on major bed rest and then wasn't allowed to leave until her babies were strong enough to go home. Betony, Julie, Kegan, and Rafferty are doing much better than when they first arrived.
Edouard and Hartley met this young teenage girl who knew she couldn't keep her baby. Without blinking, Hartley suggested they adopt it. The suggestion took Ed by surprise, but he quickly agreed. They set up an open adoption with the girl amd have just brought home their little boy, Tyler Justin Carson-Huff. The mother comes to visit at least once or twice a week and she is contractually their go-to babysitter.
Yuuta and Christiane got married this past year! But Christiane gave him one condition: he let her help him figure out what he wants to do with his life. After a lot of discussion and even more deep diving into the internet, Yuuta found the thing that he's most passionate ahout and seems to have a knack for: nursing, just like his mama. Yuuta has started nursing school, all thanks to a little push from his lovey.
Ken and Gwyneira were not planning to have any more children. Certainly not while Luned was still so little and while they were still so young. And yet earlier this year, Gwyn started feeling sick to hernstomach... then she missed her period. Before thry knew it, Gwyneira was in the hospital in full labor and they had a little boy. Luned was elated to be a big sister. Though they may not have planned it, Gwyneira and Ken are very much happy to have their little Thorburn and have honestly found that it's reignited some of their love for each other as well.
Eva has not been happy with her workmsituation for a long time and finally decided to quit. With the help of Corina, she has decided to set up a nonprofit for struggling, homeless LGBTQ youth, an issue very close to her own heart. The going has not been easy, but she got the group up and running and has already helped a number of young people in trouble. Corina has even allowed her to bring some of them through their own home when she couldn't find others to help.
Ollie has found love once more in the form of Wystan Summerfield. She met Wystan by chance at the movie theatre one day. She had gone to watch the latest installation of her favorite series by herself when she ran into him. Literally. He spilled his drink and his popcorn all down the both of them. They still went to the movie, but together and soaked and sticky. Their relationship started casual. He'd just gottennout of a long term relationship and Ollie had just recently lost her husband and her daughter. But what started as casual quickly blossomed into something much more. Ollie ended up pregnant and they just welcomed their son.
Myles and Lana sat down this year and wrote a joint memoir! How exactly do a comic artist and a nurse come together and end up with fifteen children, only two of whom are theirs biologically? Their book will be published early next year under the title "The Artist, the Nurse, and the Adoptions." They are both very proud of all that they have accomplished over the yearsand all the lives they have helped to save by doing what they do.

Eva has married the love of her life, a Romanian woman named Corina. Corina was in the country on business when they met. They held up a long distance relationship for about a year and a half before they got married at the start of this year. Corina's older brother and his wife passed away in a horrible accident, leaving Eva and Corina with their niece and nephew to raise as their own.
Since she still has no job, Lana has taken to volunteering at a children's hospital, reading to the kiddos there just as she would to her own little ones. The children love her.
From a young time in his life, Declan was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This year Ollie and Declan received an invitation to attend a conference on CF, living with it, and loving those who do. Ollie found it incredibly educational.

Ollie and Declan had their first child this year! A precious little girl named Gwenith. The couple couldn't be happier.
Eva and Corina have started volunteering at a homeless shelter for LGBT+ kids. Both are well liked, especially since their relationship shows that it is possible to thrive.

For the past couple years Ollie has been working for the local government as an assistant, but this year hit the town pretty hard and their budget went down, requiring major budget cuts. As Ollie was one of the last workers hired, she became the first to go.
While Corina was visiting the Americas on business, she stopped by an orphanage where she met the most adorable triplets, Osvaldo, Leonor, and Soledad. Every time she called home to Eva, she couldn't stop crying and raving about them. So Eva suggested the reasonable thing: they adopt the triplets. And of course they did just that. The little six year olds are settling in just fine.
The rains were especially heavy this year, causing floods everywhere including Myles and Lana's house. For several weeks the Huff family bounced from hotel rooms to friends' guest rooms while necessary repairs were made on their house. They chose this time to remodel as well, considering the damage done and their need to stay elsewhere.

Ollie and Declan came home from a date night to find their babysitter frantic and on the phone with emergency services, their little Gwenith on the floor unconscious. The little girl became suddenly very ill and died a few days later.
At seventeen years old, Mihai started asking Eva and Corina if he could get a pet. After much wearing down, Eva agreed. Mihai had saved up enough money on his own to buy a pet. Eva regretted saying he's the minute Mihai brought Wizard Slither home.
Ken'ichi met a girl at a bar a little over a year ago. They got drunk and slept together. Gwyneira left him in bed in the middle of the night, but they kept running into each other. Every time they did, they ended up in bed. All this sex led to Gwyneira getting pregnant. The moment she told him, Ken'ichi asked her on a proper date. They've been together since, working together to raise their daughter, Luned.
Lana insisted that she and Myles go on an anniversary trip this year. They haven't done anything big in years, what with their ever-growing family. With their children getting older, Myles agreed so he and Lana packed up and went to Greece for a few weeks if relaxation.

Declan had been just barely hanging on to his life, struggling with his CF and the death of his daughter. He spent months fighting for his life, but finally Ollie gave him permission to let go. Within hours, he passed away, leaving Ollie all on her own.
Corina travels a lot for work and normally she leaves Eva and the kids at home. This time, however, she brought the whole family along. Her trip only took her to Paris, across the channel, so it wasn't too far. Eva enjoyed it so much that she suggested next time, they go alone.
Ken'ichi and Gwyneira are still together, all due to their daughter. They took her this year to a boat ride near their hometown. Little Luned loved every second.
After decades in the business, Myles was finally recognized this year for his work in the comics industry. His artwork on an indie comic gained wide recognition and won him an award for all his beautiful, hard work.

Even after working for so long in the industry and winning an award for his work last year, Myles has been laid off as his company takes a nosedive. It had been close to going belly up for years. People just don't read indie comics like they used to.
After all of her tragedies in the last couple years, Ollie has moved. She packed up all her belonging and moved across the sea to New York City, hoping to find a new start there.
With little Luned now two, Ken'ichi and Gwyneira bought a fish and are helping the toddler take care of it and learn responsibility. Luned, currently obsessed with the hit film from her parents' childhood Finding Nemo, decided to call her fishy Nemo, despite it having no orange in sight.
Yuuta has been seeing a young German woman named Christiane Welter. The two have agreed to save sex for marriage, Christiane being a hardcore Christian like her name suggests. When Yuuta got laid off, much to his surprise, Christiane invited him to move in with her. The two live together, Christiane helping Yuuta with his job search, and everyone expects the wedding announcements to come any day.
Edouard has an American boyfriend, Hartley Carson. While visiting Hartley in his Louisiana hometown, Edouard got caught in a hurricane. Hartley's home was destroyed and a number of his family members injured. Ed and Hartley spent a short stint in the emergency room themselves, Ed with a broken arm. Both are doing much better now.
Emma has been going out with a man named Martin since her junior year of high school. He was an exchange student attending her high school from Croatia. Martin and Emma recently got engaged. Emma had just graduated high school when Martin approached her quietly and popped the question, no trumpets or fanfare. Emma said yes. Her high school graduation quickly became her double happiest day yet.
Little Maybelline has had it rough this year. She started dating this guy she thought she liked and she thought was sweet. Turns out, he was a major playboy. When she said she didn't want to have sex yet, he guilted her into it anyway. She ended up pregnant. The boy dumped her the minute she told him, so now the sixteen year old girl is raising her twin daughters, Aran and Garnet, with help from her parents and siblings.

Maybelline started seeing a new boy this past year, a sweet young man by the name of Eliot Teel. Eliot has always done the exact opposite of what the twins's father did, a fact Maybelline fell in love with early on in their relationship. However, they ended up moving very fast and when they got pregnant withtheir son, Maximilian, they asked both of their parents for permission to get married. Maybelline is no longer Maybelline Hayes Huff, but Maybelline Teel. Eliot adopted her twins right off the bat.
Emma and Martin have settled down together nearby, spending half their time here with Emma's family and the other half in Croatia with his. This past year, Emma and Martin stayed a little bit longer than usual or expected but when they came home Myles and Lana found out quickly why. Emma had gotten pregnant before their trip... And they had quadruplets! Because of this, she'd been put on major bed rest and then wasn't allowed to leave until her babies were strong enough to go home. Betony, Julie, Kegan, and Rafferty are doing much better than when they first arrived.
Edouard and Hartley met this young teenage girl who knew she couldn't keep her baby. Without blinking, Hartley suggested they adopt it. The suggestion took Ed by surprise, but he quickly agreed. They set up an open adoption with the girl amd have just brought home their little boy, Tyler Justin Carson-Huff. The mother comes to visit at least once or twice a week and she is contractually their go-to babysitter.
Yuuta and Christiane got married this past year! But Christiane gave him one condition: he let her help him figure out what he wants to do with his life. After a lot of discussion and even more deep diving into the internet, Yuuta found the thing that he's most passionate ahout and seems to have a knack for: nursing, just like his mama. Yuuta has started nursing school, all thanks to a little push from his lovey.
Ken and Gwyneira were not planning to have any more children. Certainly not while Luned was still so little and while they were still so young. And yet earlier this year, Gwyn started feeling sick to hernstomach... then she missed her period. Before thry knew it, Gwyneira was in the hospital in full labor and they had a little boy. Luned was elated to be a big sister. Though they may not have planned it, Gwyneira and Ken are very much happy to have their little Thorburn and have honestly found that it's reignited some of their love for each other as well.
Eva has not been happy with her workmsituation for a long time and finally decided to quit. With the help of Corina, she has decided to set up a nonprofit for struggling, homeless LGBTQ youth, an issue very close to her own heart. The going has not been easy, but she got the group up and running and has already helped a number of young people in trouble. Corina has even allowed her to bring some of them through their own home when she couldn't find others to help.
Ollie has found love once more in the form of Wystan Summerfield. She met Wystan by chance at the movie theatre one day. She had gone to watch the latest installation of her favorite series by herself when she ran into him. Literally. He spilled his drink and his popcorn all down the both of them. They still went to the movie, but together and soaked and sticky. Their relationship started casual. He'd just gottennout of a long term relationship and Ollie had just recently lost her husband and her daughter. But what started as casual quickly blossomed into something much more. Ollie ended up pregnant and they just welcomed their son.
Myles and Lana sat down this year and wrote a joint memoir! How exactly do a comic artist and a nurse come together and end up with fifteen children, only two of whom are theirs biologically? Their book will be published early next year under the title "The Artist, the Nurse, and the Adoptions." They are both very proud of all that they have accomplished over the yearsand all the lives they have helped to save by doing what they do.
