Tobin and Lexa began dating when Lexa turned eighteen, and got engaged just after Tobin graduated with his degree and prior to beginning his year at the Bar Professional Training Course. Lexa, 20 years old at the time, had just finished her nursing education through the Royal Army and was stationed in London. Tobin was in Manchester at the time, and the two of them married only after Tobin completed his law training and could move to London to join a law practice there as a barrister. Tobin and Lexa have been married for the last two months and rent an apartment in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Then, Lexa began a small home daycare business for other local parents--in addition to Mason, she currently cares for a three year old girl, a four year old boy, two year old twins, and their eight month old sister.

Tobin and Lexa marked their twentieth anniversary by celebrating the fact that their youngest son is now potty trained and that they no longer need to buy diapers...for the first time in fifteen years. Mason is on the football team at school, and is very good, by all accounts. Leo is playing rugby (and Lexa really wishes he wouldn't). Ryan spends his time with Raptor, learning about snakes and begging for more. Marcus idolizes his elder brother Mason and also plays football. Tobin is still taking business classes, and Lexa is the one holding everything together. Its a wild life, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

This year, Tobin's place of employment offered him a new position in Oxford, which he decided to take. The family moved from their home in London to a new home in Oxford. The boys are loving all the space and are already making friends with the other kids in the neighborhood!

After years of running a daycare, Lexa has quit her job to stay home with the boys. She found that running the business from out of town was more difficult than she anticipated, and didn't want the hassle of starting a new place in Oxford. Really, Lexa isn't sure why it didn't happen sooner, but Ryan was the one who finally convinced his parents that a snake was a great thing to have as a pet. Raptor joined the family this year, much to Lexa's chagrin and the boys' excitement.

Tobin and Lexa marked their twentieth anniversary by celebrating the fact that their youngest son is now potty trained and that they no longer need to buy diapers...for the first time in fifteen years. Mason is on the football team at school, and is very good, by all accounts. Leo is playing rugby (and Lexa really wishes he wouldn't). Ryan spends his time with Raptor, learning about snakes and begging for more. Marcus idolizes his elder brother Mason and also plays football. Tobin is still taking business classes, and Lexa is the one holding everything together. Its a wild life, but she wouldn't have it any other way.
