Cybele is one of my firm favourites, it kinda ticks all my boxes - weird, not too modern, history / mythology behind it, eye-catching on paper and a pretty sound...
The issue is that everyone I've bounced it off of has either hated it, mocked it as too weird, and/or struggled with saying or spelling it. It was one of three names my ex explicately vetoed, which I guess could work for or against it.
I thought Cynara might be more accessible? It has a nice nature/flower association and looks more feminine. But actually, it might look a little either scientific/medicinal or made up? Like a kinda trendy kinda anagram version of
Serena? I've always hated
Serena, sadly, and might have just talked myself out of Cynara. Hmmm...
