[Facts] Submitted Names
Hi !!!
I have two questions about submitted names...
1 How submitted names change to "Database names"?
I have an idea to tell you..
Can we put a button near the well-known "Add to your list" with "Like/Want in the database" or something similar? They will go not in our list but in a list that only Mike C can see. And he can see how many people voted any names.
So users can vote Submitted names and when you update names you have a list of names that people want to be official.
Is it possible to do?
2 can we add tags also to Submitted names?
Augusto Aurelio Bruno Filippo Flavio Leone Luigi Stefano Valerio
Alba Anastasia Angelica Cassandra Corinna Dafne Diana Dora Fiammetta Flora Gelsomina Ginevra Lavinia Luna Morgana Olimpia Perla Rosa Rossella Serena Stella Susanna

It is a very slow process. I'm the only one who adds to the main database, while dozens of names are added to the submitted database every day. There is no way I can keep up. It is not so easy as simply copying from one database to another, since additional verification needs to be done and more information added (such as the relations between names, in order to generate the family trees).
Fortunately the submitted names are almost just as visible and accessible as the main names. For example they both can be added to personal name lists, and both show up in searches. There might be further integration in the future. There is a good team of editors working on the submitted names, so the quality of the information is generally excellent.
I would like to add the ability to upvote and downvote submitted names, sort of like you can do in the name comments. This leaves questions such as: should the voting score remain even after an editor has improved the name's entry?
The tagging, comment and ratings modules might be added to the submitted names at a later date too.

Hi Mike C!!
Thank you for the detailed answe!!
You are right...mine ideas are actually only ideas while it is hard to do them real because there are so many names!
I'm really happy that submitted names will be comment in future!!
I think not...the score is helpful if the name is still submitted but after it will be like every database name.
You were so kind to answer me !!
Thanks!!
