I don't mind the sound of Destry. And I think I prefer it for a girl. But visually, it bothers me that it is only one letter away from the word "destroy".
I've never met a Destry.
It feels like it would be trendy, but I word trend implies that there'd have to be a spike in usage. So far as I know, it's hardly ever used...
