Meaning & History

Zhū-Què is a Xiang (象) one of the four Symbols that include all the constellations of Chinese System. Zhū-Què is known as Vermillion Bird of the South and is a pheasant with a multicolour piumage covered by flames. It is a mythological spirit creature linked with the power of fire, the south, the back, the summer.
