Vince Guaraldi, the jazz pianist who wrote the Charlie Brown tunes with his trio… Vinz from Nico & Vinz too but that’s spelt differently.I’m kinda surprised he hasn’t been mentioned already.
I love the name Vince. It has a very confident and classic rock feel to it (and not just because of Vince Neil). It also reminds me of my favourite Mighty Boosh character: Vince Noir!
Vince is a great nickname for Vincent. I also think it has a country/cowboy vibe that I really like...it's similar in style in my opinion to Wes and Lance. I definitely prefer it as a nickname for Vincent or Vincenzo. I had a friend in school who was named Vincent but we called him Vince. Great name!

I like this name (as a nickname for Vincent), it sounds gentle and soft.
Three famous bearers: - Vince Lombardi was head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1950's and 1960's, winning the first two Super Bowls with them and amassing one of the most impressive winning percentages in NFL history. After his death, the championship trophy was renamed 'The Vince Lombardi Trophy'. - Vince McMahon is the owner and chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), formerly known as World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and is often credited with helping to make pro-wrestling a billion dollar a year industry (Although he has made his share of controversy from such topics as steriod usage for his wrestlers, creating the phrase 'sports entertainment', his seedy private life and trying to create the XFL football franchise) - Vince Young was the quarterback of the University of Texas football team during 2003-2005. He led the team to their first Rose Bowl appearance and win over Michigan in 2005, 38-37. He then led University of Texas to an unbeaten season in 2005- their first since the 1970's- . Finally, he was MVP of Texas' second Rose Bowl win when they beat USC, 41-38, which clinched Texas its first NCAA title in 35 years. Young chose to forgo his senior year and entered the 2006 NFL draft, being selected in the first round (Third overall) by the Tennessee Titans.
I’m kinda surprised he hasn’t been mentioned already.
