Meaning & History
The 20th letter of the Greek alphabet (Y, υ). Only used by Upsilon Phi Lockhart (1908-88), of Texas. His father Thomas had come into possession of a Greek alphabet bible, and decided, on a whim, to name his children after Greek letters. These include: Alpha Omega, Beta Gamma, Delta Epsilon, Lewis Buckner (odd one out), Theta Lota, and Omicron Pi.
