Means "dry one". This was the name of an Old Norse month, lasting from the middle of January to the middle of February. In Norse mythology Þorri was King of Kvenland (modern-day Norrbotten in Sweden and Pohjanmaa in Finland), the son of Snær and brother of Mjǫll, Fǫnn and Drífa. He had three children: Nórr, Górr and Gói.
